The birthday girl and her guests will twirl pirouettes of delight when a real live ballerina comes through the door to give them a private lesson! It's definitely a special treat, but it doesn't have to be a huge splurge. You don't need to hire the prima ballerina at the local ballet company -- or even an actual ballet teacher, for that matter. If your daughter goes to a ballet school, you could ask one of the older students there if she'd like to make some extra cash on a Saturday afternoon. As long as she has fun with the girls and can teach the basics (and looks the part, obviously), the little ballerinas-in-training will think she's a star.

But if you're really looking to impress -- you can have your ballerina bash at an actual ballet school. The Boston Ballet, for example, has party packages starting at $495 [source: Boston Ballet].
