Little girls have always loved candy necklaces and bracelets. Here are a few more ideas along the same lines that are good for any kid.
Cookie Pendant: Wait! Before you let that batch of sugar cookies cool down all the way, consider poking a hole through the top of a few of them and putting them aside for a day or so. Then, delight your little one with the ability to make a cookie necklace with some ribbon or a licorice string and wear it until hungry.
"Life Saving" Ring: Using a piece of string licorice wrapped twice around a child's finger and strung and an O-shaped piece of candy makes this a neat-looking piece of flair (and great in case those hunger pangs start kicking in!).
Sweet 'n' salty Necklace: Using a piece of string licorice, alternate your favorite salty and sweet snacks as "beads" on a necklace. Pretzels, o-shaped cereal, Life Savers or knotted gummy worms and stringable snacks are all part of the fun.
