Double line drawing may make you think you're seeing double, but you're not. You're actually seeing a colorful design drawn with two crayons, markers or pencils at once.
What You'll Need:
- Masking tape
- Crayons
- Colored pencils or markers
- Construction or drawing paper
- Watercolor paints and paintbrush (optional)
Step 1: Hold two crayons, colored pencils, or markers side by side and tape them together with masking tape. You can use two of the same color or two different colors.
Step 2: Draw a picture on a piece of paper. Your picture will have double lines. Write your name a few times or make the same design, such as a heart, over and over in different colors and sizes. Change color combinations often.
Step 3: After you've finished drawing your picture, color the space between the lines to create a bold design. If you use crayons to draw your picture, color the spaces with watercolor paint to create a resist effect.
