Caramel Nut Sweets are a delicious treat your loved ones will go nuts over.
What You'll Need:
For the candies:
Margarine for greasing
2 cups pecan halves
14-ounce bag of caramels
Ask an adult to preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet, and arrange pecan halves to make the petals of a flower. Put one unwrapped caramel candy in the center of each flower. Bake for five minutes or until caramels have melted.
Grease a metal spatula, and use it to carefully spread the softened caramel over the pecans to coat them. Place the candies on waxed paper. When the candies are cool, wrap them in foil, and give them as Valentine's treats.
