How to Draw a Stuffed Lion in 5 Steps

3. Add the Face and Mane

Add a long line to the snout. Form the eye on your right with one oval. Place it in a larger partial oval that has a curved line attached to each end. Use upside-down J-shapes and U-shapes for the other eye and bridge of the snout.

Divide a U-shape with a curved line for the tongue. Attach a U-shape to the tongue for a front paw. Use curved lines for the other paws. Draw more curved lines for the back and seam lines.

Detail the mane with a curved line and curved V-shapes (most connected). Draw an oval for the tuft at the tail's end. Bandage the tail with a curved rectangle.
