Step 2: Alternate threading seed beads and bugle beads onto the wire until you have four seed beads and three bugle beads.

Step 3: Shape the beaded wire into a triangle, and twist together the two strands of wire that meet at the top of the triangle.

Step 4: Now string one bugle bead and one seed bead onto the twisted wire, and clip any excess wire 1/2 inch above last bead. Use the needle-nose pliers to form a loop at the top for hanging.

Step 5: Slightly open the loop on an earring hook with the pliers. Slip the loop of the beaded wire into the earring hook loop; close the loop with the needle-nose pliers.

Step 6: Repeat all steps for the matching earring.

Tools:

  • Needle-nose pliers

Step 2: Bring the ends of the nylon line together to form a loop, and string on a crystal rondelle and a crimp bead.

Step 3: Attach both ends of the strand to a jump ring with a crimp bead. To do this, slide a crimp bead and then a jump ring onto the end of the nylon line. Thread the nylon line back through the crimp bead, and pull it tight so the crimp bead is close to the jump ring.

Step 4: Using needle-nose pliers or crimping pliers, flatten the crimp bead so it stays in place. Using a sharp pair of scissors, trim the excess line as close to the crimp bead as possible, but only on the short end. Obviously, you need to leave the long end in order to string the beads. Before crimping down, adjust the length of the drop until it is as long or as short as you desire.

Step 5: Using needle-nose pliers, attach the jump ring to the ear wire or post.

Step 6: Repeat steps 1 through 5 to make the second earring.
