A Hair-Clip Holder is a craft project for kids that helps them keep their hair -- and their rooms -- a little neater. If your kids are always losing their hair clips and scrunchies, they need someplace to keep them.

This fun project is a great idea for organizing "hair things."

How to Make a Hair-Clip Holder:

What You'll Need:

  • Stiff Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Yarn
  • Craft Glue

Step One: Cut a 4-inch circle from stiff cardboard. This is your hair-clip holder's "face." Draw on eyes, lips, freckles, dimples -- anything that makes you smile.

Step Two: Cut sixteen 20-inch pieces of colored yarn to make your hair-clip holder's "hair." Tie the yarn pieces in the middle with a small piece of matching yarn to form the "part."

Step Three: Glue the part to the top of your cardboard face. You can either braid the dangling strands of yarn hair or leave them loose.

Step Four: Now you can keep all your hair ties and barrettes safely clipped in your holder's hair until you're ready to use them!
